First State Heritage Park’s 18th Century Market Fair, November 7th
A great community event with fun for all ages. Woodworkers, weavers, horners, blacksmiths, brewers, charlatons, shepherds, soldiers, seamstresses, soapmakers and more will display their skills and their wares on the Dover Green. The Green, Dover.
The Weight: Playing songs of ‘The Band’, November 7th
A passing wish of Levon Helm was for the music and spirit of “The Band” to live on. To that end, members of “The Band”, guitarist, singer-songwriter Jim Weider and dual drummer, singer-songwriter Randy Ciarlante, have formed “The Weight”. Remaining authentic in its sound and legitimate in its heritage, the brotherhood based line-up includes Marty Grebb, who wrote and recorded with “The Band” plus Byron Isaacs and Brian Mitchell, both members of Levon’s “Ramble Band”. The Rehoboth Art League’s 26th Annual Holiday Fair & Fine Craft Show
Patrons can stroll the Historic Homestead, Chambers Studio, Paynter Studio and the Corkran galleries to select the perfect gifts for family, friends and themselves. The 2015 Holiday Fair will feature over 30 artisans exhibiting and selling their work, including jewelry, glassworks, pottery, clay sculpture, painting, woodworking, mixed media, and decorative and wearable fiber creations.
