Flute Choir Spring Recital, May 26th

Dark Star Orchestra offers much more than the sound of the Grateful Dead, they truly encapsulate the energy and the experience. It’s about a sense of familiarity. It’s about thta contagious energy, in short, it’s about the complete experience and consistent quality show that the fan receives when attending a Dark Star Orchestra show. 3rd Annual Buccaneer Bash Pirate Festival, May 22nd – 24th

This swashbuckling weekend begins with a Pub Crawl in town on Friday evening from 6-10pm featuring local purveyors of fine spirits and continues Saturday and Sunday with Fun, Food, Games, Live Music, Vendors, Goodies, Booty, Sword Fights, Duels, Cannons and MUCH more. Admission is FREE! This event, filled with Pirates, Mischief and Entertainment for the whole family, is sponsored by Bowers Beach Maritime Museum. Bowers Beach Maritime Museum, Frederica.

 

Cinderella’s Glass Slipper, May 22nd – 24th

Cinderella works hard in the home of her cruel stepmother. Her silly stepsisters, Brunhilda and Cleopatra, see themselves as beautiful and think the prince will marry them. Of course, the handsome prince spends most of the evening at a palace ball trying to escape from them! The story is ages old, but you’ll meet playful new characters in this fresh adaptation: a brave mouse, a hesitant cat and the amazing Pumpkinhead, who changes into a coach! Delaware By Hand Members’ Day Show, May 23rd

Delaware By Hands Artists and Artisans will host the Annual Outdoor Show in Lewes the Zwaanendael Park. A wide array of unique and original artwork will be for sale. Zwaanendael Park, Lewes.

 

 

Milton Free Summer Concerts – Cape Henlopen High School Jazz Band, May 27th

Bring your family, blanket or chairs, and a picnic dinner to our free outdoor Summer Concert Series. Concerts are held Wednesday evenings at 7 pm in the Milton Memorial Park in downtown Milton.
