Chief Inspector Scott Small said about 50 teens, young adults and some younger children were present when the gunfire erupted late Wednesday afternoon outside the Simons Community Recreation Center.

No children were hit.

An 18-year-old man was struck in the groin and a 19-year-old man was hit in the thigh by the gunfire, police said. Their conditions were not immediately known.
