2 armed suspects rob Germantown store

Police are looking for suspects who robbed the Devon Grocery store in East Germantown.

On Feb. 13 at 6 p.m., two unknown males wearing dark colored hooded sweatshirts and masks and armed with handguns entered the Devon Grocery store located at 952 East Woodlawn Street.

The first suspect pointed a handgun at an employee and proceeded to go behind the counter while the second suspect pointed a handgun at a customer taking her to the rear of the store along with a second employee.

After taking $303 from the store and employees, along with $50 and a black Galaxy 4 cellphone from a customer, both suspects fled on foot and were last seen east on Woodlawn Street. No injuries were reported during this incident.

The first suspect is described as a 5’9″-5’11” black male, between 21 and 25 years-of-age, dark complected and weighing 220 lbs.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt pulled up, a white t-shirt covering his face, blue sweatpants and was armed with a handgun.

The second suspect is described as a 5’10” – 6’0″ black male between 25-30 years-of-age, dark complected, thin build and weighing 180 lbs.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt pulled up, white t-shirt covering his face, blue jeans and was armed with a handgun.
