March 5, 2012

100 block W. Tulpehocken St. – 2005 Ford Taurus stolen.

Unit block E. Haines St. – $400 stolen from a classroom at the location.

Rubicam St. / Armstrong St. – Complainant said a former friend snatched her cell phone and fired gun shots and her.

7100 block McCallum St. – 14-inch flat-screen TV, 40-inch flat-screen TV, Samsung monitor and computer hard drive and two Arabian knives were stolen from the property.

March 6, 2012

7200 block Mansfield Ave. – Complainant said his mom struck him several times in the back of the head. Offender also picked up a candlestick and struck the complainant in the forehead.

7500 block Limekiln Pike – Xbox game system and two controllers were stolen from the property.

6900 block Rodney St. – Complainant said he was shot twice during an attempted armed robbery at his business. Complainant was shot in the chest and ride side of his arm while struggling with the offender. Complainant was taken to the hospital and is listed in critical condition.

1100 block Slocum St. – 1999 Lexus RX300 stolen.

5200 block Belfield Ave. – Complainant said he was cut by glass while riding on a school bus. He said two young men were throwing rocks at the bus and shattered a window in the process. Offenders were gone before police arrived.

5900 block Magnolia St. – Complainant said a man forced his way into his home and robbed him at gunpoint. Offender fled after complainant handed over $300.

500 block High St. – 36-inch TV stolen from the property.

500 block High St. – 22-inch Toshiba flat screen and a Radio Shack antenna stolen from the property.

Wayne Ave. / W. Washington Lane – Complainant said a known offender shot her with a BB gun on her way home from school.

600 block W. Phil Ellena St. – Wii game system, two cameras, $400 and a Nintendo DS stolen from the property.

100 block Maplewood Ave. – Magellan GPS, five pairs of sunglasses and $10 were stolen from a 2004 Honda Accord.

8600 block Germantown Ave. – A man attempted to rob a bank at the location. Offender handed a teller a demand note, but nothing was taken.

8100 block Stenton Ave. – Handgun stolen from the property.

March 7, 2012

1900 block E. Washington Lane – Complainant said her husband struck her on the buttocks with a metal pipe he had picked up outside while she was getting her hair braided at the location. Offender was arrested.

100 block E. Chelten Ave. – Watch and a gold and diamond wedding band stolen from the property.

200 block E. Wister St. – Complainant said a cab driver pointed a gun at her face after becoming upset that she was taking too long. Offender then got back into the cab and drove off.

100 block E. Seymour St. – Clothes, jewelry and appliances stolen from the property.

6000 block Greene St. – 1999 Mercury Mystique stolen.

7200 block Germantown Ave. – Complainant said a man robbed her at the location. Offender slapped complainant in the face before running off with a pair of gold earrings and an Apple iPhone.

100 block W. School House Lane – Complainant said a man robbed her at the location. Offender fled with a black purse and $300 worth of gift cards.

Germantown Ave. / W. Gravers Lane – Complainant said three men robbed him while he was on the bus. Offenders fled with headphones and an iPhone.

March 8, 2012

W. Cheltenham Ave. / N. Bouvier St. – Complainant said her ex-boyfriend pointed a handgun at her during a dispute inside a U-Haul truck.

7300 block Limekiln Pike – 2000 Honda Accord stolen.

5300 block Chew Ave. – Copper pipes stolen from a church at the location.

6700 block Emlen St. – Complainant said a known offender hit him twice in the leg with his motorized scooter. Complainant was taken to the hospital.

8200 block Stenton Ave. – Complainant said two men robbed him and two others at gunpoint. Offenders left with a burgundy pocketbook, wallet, various IDs, two driver’s licenses, credit cards and $56.

March 9, 2012

1900 block 73rd Ave. – Complainant said a man robbed him at gunpoint as he was getting out of his car. Offender ran off with complainant’s keys, wallet and $4,000.

Germantown Ave. / E. Clapier St. – A man robbed a complainant at gunpoint after jumping from behind a white van. Offender ran off with a wedding band, iPod, IDs and $40.

300 block E. Wister St. – 42″ Vizio TV, PS3, HP laptop and an Xbox game system were stolen from the property.

W. Rittenhouse St. / McCallum St. – Complainant said a man punched him in the face several times and swung him into a metal pole. Complainant said he was knocked unconscious. Complainant was taken to the hospital.

8900 block Germantown Ave. – TV stolen from a school at the location.

7100 block Stenton Ave. – Complainant said a man robbed her at gunpoint. Masked offender fled with a silver pocketbook, ID, credit cards and a Samsung cell phone.

200 block E. Willow Grove Ave. – 2010 Honda Civic stolen.

8000 block Thouron Ave. – Acer laptop stolen from a school at the location.

March 10, 2012

2200 block Stenton Ave. – Complainant said a man approached her from behind and grabbed her cell phone out of her hand. Offender ran off with a T-Mobile window phone.

2300 block 76th Ave. – Two Fossil watches and men’s clothing stolen from the property.

7200 block N. 20th St. – 2002 Ford Taurus stolen.

8400 block Seminole Ave. – Silver Tiffany necklace, pearl necklace, diamond earrings and platinum earrings stolen from the property.

600 block E. Sedgwick St. – TV, stereo, copper pipes, clothing and more stolen from the property.

300 block E. Gowen St. – iPod, clothes, African sculptures, shoes and jewelry stolen from a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica.

March 11, 2012

1100 block E. Upsal St. – 42-inch Panasonic flat-screen TV, Acer laptop and a Panasonic theater system stolen from the property.

1500 block E. Johnson St. – Three men robbed two complainants at gunpoint. Offenders ran off with two cell phones and a black pocketbook, but were later identified and arrested.

700 block Gray St. – Complainant said a known offender put her in a tub, placed a belt around her neck and tried to choke her during a fight. Offender was arrested.

5300 block Belfield Ave. – Complainant said a man attempted to rob him at gunpoint at the location. Complainant ran after the offender pulled out the firearm and asked him to “give me what you got.” Nothing was taken.

700 block E. Chelten Ave. – Complainant said his wife almost ran him over at the location. Complainant said the two had been arguing prior to the incident.

7100 block Bryan St. – Medical card, SS card, PNC bank card, Target card and a $29 money order stolen from a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe.

1500 block Wadsworth Ave. – Complainant said two men robbed her at gunpoint inside a business at the location. Offenders ran off with $550 from the register.

1400 block E. Mt. Pleasant Ave. – Two men robbed a complainant and a witness at gunpoint. Offenders ran off with an iPod Touch, headphones, two cell phones and a debit card.

8000 block Roanoke St. – Two small gas tanks, propane tank, power leaf blower and attachments and a shovel were stolen from the property.

W. Cheltenham Ave. / E. Mt. Airy Ave. – Three men robbed a complainant and a witness at gunpoint. Offenders ran off with bags, purses and cell phones.
