August 31, 2011

600 block W. Hortter St. – Sony Rebel XT camera, Sony laptop, Gateway laptop, Apple Macbook and more were stolen from the property. Complainant said she went to sleep at 10 a.m. and woke up at noon to find that someone had broken into her home.

100 block W. Tulpehocken St. – complainant said she was raped by a known acquaintance.

5800 block Wakefield St. – complainant said someone fired two shots through his front window while he was sitting in his living room. Three others made a similar report. There were no reported injuries.

6700 block Chew Ave. – 20″ Mongoose bike and a 20″ Huffy bike were stolen from the property.

100 block E. Chelten Ave. – complainant said two men opened the door of a Port-O-Potty he was using and robbed him at gunpoint. Offenders ran off with $100.

1200 block E. Stafford St. – complainant said her boyfriend hit her in the face with the butt of a handgun during a dispute. Complainant had a bruise around her right eye.

6300 block Musgrave St. – complainant said two known offenders assaulted him. He said one of the offenders held him down, while the other struck him with a handgun. Complainant had a cut on his right ear as a result. Police arrested one of the offenders. The other was gone before they arrived at the scene.

6600 block Chew Ave. – complainant said a man tried to rob him while he was at Chestnut Hill Hospital seeking help with a stab wound.

7100 block Woolston Ave. – complainant said a male offender ran up behind her and stole her Apple iPhone from her hand before fleeing.

7100 block Limekiln Pike – Complainant said two men robbed him at gunpoint. He said one of the offenders stuck a shotgun in his mouth. The men then struck the complainant and went through his pockets. An I.D., books, Cricket cell phone and a T-Mobile cell phone were stolen.

E. Washington Lane / Thouron Ave. – complainant said a man ran up behind her and grabbed her cell phone out of her back pocket.

 

September 1, 2011

300 block E. Gorgas Lane – Dell laptop, house keys and car keys stolen from the property.

200 block E. Mount Airy Ave. – $20 in coins, two Mp3 players, children’s soccer equipment, a leather bag and a check book were stolen from a 1997 Honda Accord.

7000 block Mount Airy Terrace – two bags, two watches, three gold necklaces, rings, pins, a bracelet and a wedding band were stolen from the property.

6900 block Ardleigh St. – complainant said someone threatened to kill him. He said the offender did not point a gun at him, but told him he would shoot him. This after the offender showed the offender that he had a gun in his waistband. Offender fled in a blue Dodge pick-up truck.

7900 block Stenton Ave. – 1993 Chrysler LeBaron stolen between 7 p.m. Aug. 31 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 1.

6600 block Crowson St. – complainant said he was stabbed during a dispute involving six male offenders. Complainant was taken to the hospital.

100 block W. Chelten Ave. – complainant said a man stole a money order from Aces Check Cashing. The order was worth $325.

Cresheim/Gorgas Lane – complainant said two men assaulted him while trying to rob him. He said one offender punched him in the face and then told the other to go through the complainant’s pockets. Nothing was taken. The offenders fled in an unknown direction.

6700 block Chew Ave. – complainant said he was shot in the lower back. Complainant was listed in stable condition.

1900 block Dallas St. – PS3 and an Xbox 360 stolen from the property.

Unit block E. Chelten Ave. – complainant said a man robbed him at gunpoint as he was entering his car. Offender ran off with complainant’s watch and $400 in cash.

Chew Ave. / Woodlawn Ave. – complainant appeared to be stabbed twice in his right arm. Complainant was taken to the hospital and was listed in stable condition.

7500 block Gilbert St. – complainant said offender punched her in the face three times during a dispute. Complainant went to the hospital where she was treated for a broken nose.

 

September 2, 2011

E. Chelten Ave. / Germantown Ave. – 2010 Toyota Camry stolen.

100 block Pelham Road – Cannon digital camera and an Apple iPhone stolen from the property.

8000 block Winston Road – Macbook, charger, passport and other personal items stolen from a 2006 Honda Civic.

1600 block Mohican St. – 2004 Infiniti G35 stolen.

400 block E. Chelten Ave. – complainant said someone stole $300 from her property. She said she lives with her five children who were home at the time.

7700 block Cedarbrook Ave. – Nintendo Wii stolen from the property between 4:30 p.m. Aug. 31 and 12:30 p.m. Sept. 2.

1100 block E. Hortter St. – 2002 Infiniti XJ360 stolen between 7 p.m. Aug. 31 and 5:30 p.m. Sept. 1.

1000 block E. Chelten Ave. – 1000-watt amp, Skil saw, Skil router and a Skil drill were stolen from the property.

800 block E. Chelten Ave. – 30 cartons of cigarettes were stolen from a car.

2400 block 76th Ave. – complainant said someone stole her bank card while at a function at the location and later charged $575 to the card.

 

September 3, 2011

400 block E. Washington Lane – 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee stolen.

Stenton Ave. / Willow Grove Ave. – silver Android cell phone stolen from the location.

 

September 4, 2011

400 block E. Washington Lane – book bag and HTC cell phone stolen from the location.

5600 block Germantown Ave. – 30 CDs stolen from a 2002 Mitsubishi Montero.

Unit block Norman Lane – Fuji Roubaix bike stolen from the location. Complainant said the bike was locked up at the time.

Anderson St. / Cardeza St. – 2007 Dodge Durango was stolen between 11 p.m. Sept. 2 and 8:30 a.m. Sept. 3.

1800 block Ashley Road – 2009 Pontiac G6 stolen. Complainant said he lent the car to his girlfriend Aug. 22 and she has yet to return it.

72nd Ave. / 20th St. – complainant said a known offender punched him in his left eye. Complainant went to the hospital where he received stitches.

 

September 5, 2011

8000 block Baldwin St. – five TV sets, various gold, silver, pearls, diamond jewelry, two mink coats and a computer were stolen from the property between Sept. 1 and Sept. 5. Complainant said the house had a fire Aug. 30 and that no one was permitted inside.

7600 block Forrest Ave. – GPS system stolen from a 2003 Toyota Camry between 2 p.m. Sept. 4 and 3 p.m. Sept. 5.

5800 block Crittenden St. – IDs, paperwork, Nintendo Wii, 10 games and kids school supplies were stolen from the property.

5800 block Stockton Road – Vizio flat screen TV stolen from the property between 2 and 6 a.m. Sept. 5.

1300 block Narragansett St. – Playstation 3, house keys, wallet and other personal items stolen from the property.

7400 block Briar Road – complainant said a known offender punched her in the face and pointed a silver handgun at her during a dispute over the offender’s phone. There were no injuries. Offender was later arrested.

200 block E. Ashmead St. – 2007 Toyota Camry stolen between 7:30 p.m. Sept. 4 and 12 p.m. Sept. 5.

Unit block W. School House Lane – two laptops stolen from Greene Street Friends School.

6800 block Wayne Ave. – male offender kicked the complainant before beating the complainant’s head against a set of concrete steps. Offender also punched the complainant 5 or 6 times. Complainant was taken to the hospital. Offender was arrested.

900 block E. Allens Lane – complainant said someone stole $1,000 from her property. She said that a witness, who is mentally challenged, let the stranger into the home.

 

September 6, 2011

300 E. Walnut Lane – Pioneer 7″ TV, car radio and a tinted front right window were stolen from a 2005 Dodge Magnum.

6200 block Homer St. – tools laptop and CDs from a Chevy. Someone also broke into a red BMW, but nothing was taken.

5800 block Crittenden St. – tile saw, circle saw, hammer drill and a screw gun were stolen at the location. A police camera facing the house may have captured the offender on tape.

1300 block E. Haines St. – 2005 Suzuki Forenza stolen. Complainant said she left the car running with the keys inside for five minutes. The car was gone when she returned.

4900 block Baynton St. – 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix stolen.

400 block E. Penn St. – two men robbed a bar at gunpoint. Offenders stole an unknown amount of cash from the register and $400 from one of the complainant’s cars.

2200 block Stenton Ave. – complainant said three female offenders started a fight with her outside of a bar and stole her purse, cell phone and ID.

900 block E. Woodlawn St. – complainant said his ex-girlfriend threw a brick at his head. Complainant was taken to the hospital and was treated for lacerations to the head. Offender said complainant hit her in the mouth. Offender was arrested.

2100 block Eastburn Ave. – complainant said two male offenders robbed her and her cousin at gunpoint. The offenders ran off with a wallet, two IDs, Metro cell phone, book bag and a T-Mobile cell phone.
