$1000 reward for information in Oak Lane Pharmacy robbery

The Citizen’s Crime Commission is offering the public a reward for information that helps in the arrest of two suspects from an Oak Lane Pharmacy robbery that took place this past Monday, November 7.At about 10:50 a.m. on November 7, the first suspect, who has been identified as Lavell Lewis, entered the pharmacy, at 6724 Old York Road, and jumped over the counter, armed with a handgun.  He demanded prescription drugs. The pharmacist filled a messenger bag belonging to Lewis with numerous narcotics.

Police describe Lewis as a 19-year-old male from the 1700 block of 67th Avenue.His accomplice, who has not been identified, stood as a lookout by the pharmacy’s front door. Police describe him as black male, 25-years-old, 6-foot with a stocky build. He was wearing all black clothing with a bandanna covering his face.Both suspects fled north on Old York Road with the stolen drugs.Northwest detectives ask anyone with information to please call 215-686-3353. Lavell is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
