Journalist Mark Bowden on “The Finish” of Osama bin Laden

Listen

[REBROADCAST] Journalist MARK BOWDEN returns to Radio Times to take us inside the rooms where the decisions were made to take down Osama bin Laden. Having access to President Obama, his national security advisors, and high ranking members of the CIA, the author of 1999’s hugely successful “Black Hawk Down” breaks down the intel collaboration from many agencies and the strategy created from their work: “F3EAD,” Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, Analyze and Disseminate. Bowden’s new book, “The Finish: The Killing of Osama Bin Laden,” looks at the huge terrorist tracking data base and the vigilance of the CIA and government that finally identified bin Laden’s courier, leading to ‘the finish’ in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
