WHYY-TV 12 Program Schedule Changes

Effective Monday, April 3, 2023, WHYY-TV 12 will begin airing general audience programming Monday to Friday from 2PM to 6PM.

Why is the change occurring?
Our youngest viewers tend to watch programming on multiple platforms, but our adult viewers are more likely to watch television over broadcast channels. Expanding general audience content is one way we can help better serve our audiences.

What will stay the same?
Children’s programming will continue to be broadcast Monday to Friday from 6AM to 2PM on WHYY-TV 12 and 24/7 on YKids, our PBS Kids Channel. Kids programming can also be streamed on the PBS Kids app or at www.pbskids.org.

What new programming will be available from 2PM to 6PM?
WHYY-TV 12 will air a variety of general audience programming, from drama to cooking and news to travel programs. For the current weekly schedule, please see our WHYY TV Schedule.
