If you only know him from his often-covered songs, you’re only scratching the surface of Chip Taylor’s six-decade long career as a singer/songwriter.  He still maintains a vigorous touring schedule, as well.

Performing likely in the DNA of the Voight family – brother Jon won an Academy Award for best actor for his work in Coming Home, and is also acclaimed for his roles in the classic films Midnight Cowboy and Deliverance.  By the way, Chip and Jon’s big brother Barry is a renowned geologist.
