Are new findings evidence of Amelia’s plane?

It’s been 75 years since Amelia Earhart and her navigator, Fred Noonan, disappeared over the central Pacific Ocean without a trace.  Except that some, including Ric Gillespie, believe Earhart did indeed leave clues as to her plane’s whereabouts.  It’s been his mission to find those clues for the past 25 years as founder of Wilmington, Delaware-based TIGHAR.  Last month, TIGHAR launched a probe to a remote Island in the Pacific to try to find remnants of the plane, and the firm has recently combed through the results.  NewsWorks Tonight Host Dave Heller spoke to Ric Gillespie about those findings.
