Rutgers grad pens memoir on Afghanistan deployment

    The lens of history is needed for fuller perspective on America’s longest military engagement. But the toll taken after a decade of war in Afghanistan is plain to see and brought into stark relief by First Lieutenant Mark Bodrog. 

    The Camden resident is author of “Second Platoon: Call Sign Hades, A Memoir of the Marines of the Combined Action Company.”  Lieutenant Bodrog spoke with NewsWorks Tonight Host Dave Heller.
