Kinky Friedman, singer-songwriter, satirist, author, journalist, Texas politician, and animal welfare activist, is touring the East Coast in support of his new album, “The Loneliest Man I Ever Met.”
He spoke with NewsWorks Tonight host Dave Heller about all of the above, starting with what compelled him to get back into the recording studio for the first time in decades.
