Colorado delegate Erin Biggs has raised about $2
A total of 4,765 delegates are expected at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia in July. That’s a lot of airplane tickets, hotels, meals, cab rides, and visits to the Liberty Bell.
Who pays for all of that? Well, the delegates do. But more often than not, they ask for a bit of help… from you.
Erin Biggs, like many delegates, has taken to the internet to fund her trip from Steamboat Springs, Colorado, to Philadelphia. Her Indiegogo site has raised about $2,000 as of the end of May. NewsWorks Tonight Host Dave Heller spoke with Biggs today.
