Bicycle fatalities are up nationwide, but Philly does better

    Efforts to improve roadway safety are intensifying in response to a nationwide increase in fatal bicycle crashes resulting from a collision with a motor vehicle.  

    Randy LoBasso, Communications Director at the Philadelphia Bicycle Coalition, discussed the Governors Highway Safety Association report with WHYY’s Dave Heller and looked at how Philadelphia stacks up.
