In the waning months of the Nutter administration, the city has released its fifth and final report on his Greenworks sustainability plan, the effort to “make Philadelphia the greenest city in America.”

The plan set 15 goals and tracked them over the life of the program.

“We have activated work across every area of the plan,” said Katherine Gajewski, director of sustainability. “Overall, we’ve exceeded four targets, we met one of them, we came close on two, we’re trending in the right direction on four, and we did not meet the remaining four.”

Gajewski reviewed the successes and shortfalls of the effort with NewsWorks Tonight host Dave Heller.
