Welcome to the new PlanPhilly.
As of today, PlanPhilly has moved exclusively to its new home on WHYY.org. This is a migration that will help us focus on what we do best: report news that informs decision-making and drives action.
You’ll still be able to find all of our old content, as the full archive of PlanPhilly reporting on urban planning, design, transportation, housing, sustainability and Philadelphia neighborhoods made the move with us. It may take awhile for all our pages to redirect correctly, so don’t fear if you hit a 404 message, but do let us know if you find a broken link or experience a problem.
Yet in any move, there are changes. In the course of planning our migration, we analyzed how our readers used the PlanPhilly site. The analytics, along with a survey of readers, helped us identify a few features that no longer served our audience in the way they were intended.
These features aren’t part of our new site on WHYY:
- Commenting on article pages
- Neighborhood landing pages
- Events calendar
- Listings for jobs, grants and RFPs
We hope that all of you find us on Facebook and Twitter, where conversation is lively and we share the events that have us stoked.
Finally, stay tuned for a revamped weekly newsletter, including event picks, a peek at the comments that got our reporters’ attention and more.
