Ben Abrams is a multimedia producer with “Studio 2.” Before joining WHYY, Ben was a reporter and afternoon news anchor with Public Radio Tulsa. He graduated from Hofstra University’s Lawrence Herbert School of Communication with a bachelor’s in radio production and from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY with a master’s in journalism.
Topics that Ben has covered include history, public transit, Native American issues, science/technology, education and the arts. He has received numerous awards for his reporting and hosting, including from the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters and the Public Media Journalists Association. He is an avid guitarist, songwriter and (uneducated) basketball fan.
