Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site — Philadelphia, PA
Known for its grand architecture and strict discipline, Eastern State Penitentiary was the world’s first true ‘penitentiary,’ a prison designed to inspire penitence, or true regret, in the hearts of convicts. Its vaulted, sky-lit cells once held many of America’s most notorious criminals, including bank robber Willie Sutton and Al Capone. Ebenezer Maxwell Mansion — Philadelphia, PA

Stenton is one of the earliest, best-preserved and most believable historic houses in Philadelphia. Wharton Esherick Museum — Paoli, PA
Wharton Esherick (1887-1970) was a sculptor who worked primarily in wood, readily extending his unique forms to furniture, furnishings, utensils, interiors and buildings, creating sculptural environments.
