Van Jones Green Collar Economy
Founding president of Green For All and a senior fellow with the Center for American Progress. Jones is the author of “The Green Collar Economy: How One Solution Can Fix Our Two Problems.” Through his work, Jones believes that by creating jobs like solar panel installation and working on wind and wave farms, the U.S. will transform from what used to be a blue collar economy to a green-collar economy. And having a workforce trained in these jobs, the U.S. will become more energy efficient.
