Guests: Patti Lomax & Andy Paterson

[From the Radio Times Archives] The late Eric Lomax was a British soldier tortured as a POW by the Japanese in WWII who later came to meet and forgive one of his torturers. His memoir, The Railway Man, has been adapted into a feature film of the same name starring Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman. Earlier this month, Marty talked to PATTI LOMAX, Eric’s widow, played by Kidman, who helped facilitate the meeting of the two former enemies, and ANDY PATERSON, the screenwriter and producer of the new film.
