The Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday released a much anticipated report on the CIA’s torture program in the years after 9/11. The report was based on a five-year investigation and found that the agency’s program was mismanaged and included abuses that were more widespread than the CIA had previously acknowledged. Joining us to talk about the findings and the fallout are JONATHAN LANDAY, national intelligence reporter for McClatchy Newspapers, writer MARK BOWDEN and attorney DEBORAH PEARLSTEIN whose work focuses on U.S. detention and interrogation practices.
