The Kermit Gosnell trial

    Listen

Guests: Joe Slobodzian, Carol Tracy, Edel Finnegan

The jury in the murder trial of the West Philadelphia abortion provider Kermit Gosnell began deliberations on Tuesday after a seven-week long trial.  Gosnell is charged on four counts of first-degree murder for allegedly killing babies that were born alive and with the death of a patient from a drug overdose. The horrific details from this case and the conditions at Gosnell’s clinic have fueled both sides of the abortion debate around the country.  This hour, we talk about the Gosnell case with JOE SLOBODZIAN, criminal courts reporter for The Philadelphia Inquirer, CAROL TRACY, Executive director of the Women’s Law Project, and EDEL FINNEGAN, Executive Director of the Pro-Life Union of Greater Philadelphia.
