The Ground Truth about 9/11
ListenHour 2
JOHN FARMER JR., is the dean of Rutgers Law School and former New Jersey state attorney general. He was also the Senior Counsel to the 9/11 Commission, and his new book about that experience, The Ground Truth, has gained some notoriety for challenging some of the commission’s findings. It shed new light on the intelligence failures that left the U.S. vulnerable to the catastrophic terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, and Farmer recently argued in a New York Times Op-Ed that the Christmas Day attempt to blow up a plane landing in Detroit reveals our government hasn’t learned its lesson. He’ll talk to Marty about 9/11, 12/25 and our government’s response to both.
