    Unions, from autoworkers to newspaper journalists, are struggling. All across the country unions are being asked to make significant concessions to keep their companies afloat. They are being asked to sacrifice hours, retirement benefits and raises. Most recently the United Autoworkers, the UAW, reached an agreement with ailing GM to help keep the auto giant out of bankruptcy.
