Owning a small business does not come without risk. According to a recent Citibank survey proprietors are taking less pay or going without a paycheck, working extra hours, and are trying to stay on top of social media trends to stay competitive. Retail stores, restaurants, and accounting firms are still having difficulties getting small business loans. Many small businesses are not hiring many new employees, and the national battle continues over extending tax cuts for high-income earners. How will the Affordable Care Act affect companies with 50 employees and less? We’ll look at the many concerns of being a small business owner with our guests, JOHN ARENSMEYER, founder and CEO of  Small Business Majority, a national lobbying group that takes positions on issues including taxes and regulation, and WILLIAM DUNKELBERG, professor emeritus of economics at Temple University and chief economist for the National Federation of Independent Business.
