Private Bradley Manning could face up to 136 years in jail for leaking thousands of classified documents to Wikileaks. The 25-year-old soldier was found guilty of 20 charges, including espionage and theft, but was acquitted of the most serious charge – aiding the enemy. He’s now awaiting sentencing. But was it a fair verdict and should the case have been brought in the first place? Was Manning a whistleblower or did he pose a genuine threat to national security? Then former Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs, PJ CROWLEY (who resigned over criticisms of the Pentagon’s treatment of Manning) will discuss the verdict and sentencing with BEN WIZNER, a Director at the American Civil Liberties Union.
