On this week’s Regional Roundup; we’ll hear how the city is assisting the homeless population through this intense heat wave. Homeless Outreach Manager for the City of Philadelphia, BRIDGETTE TOBLER, will offer advice about what we can do to help those in need. Then, we’ll hear from WHYY reporter RYAN BRIGGS and BillyPenn’s MAX MARIN, who will tell us about the correlation between police who make offensive Facebook posts and the civilian complaints against them, as well as how these officers have been disciplined since their online behavior has been made public. Also, we’ll hear about a new farm, a vertical farm in Delaware, that is hiring ex-offenders to grow organic food. Second Chances Farm’s founder AJIT GEORGE joins us.
