    [REBROADCAST] African American historian JOHN HOPE FRANKLIN died this week at age 94. We’re rebroadcasting his 2006 interview with Marty Moss-Coane. At the time of the interview Franklin had just published his autobiography “Mirror to America.” He authored many other books including, “From Slavery to Freedom.” Franklin received the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his lifelong commitment to civil rights.
