Reaction to the Supreme Court decisions

Listen 00:48:45

Guests: Theodore Ruger, Lisa McElroy

As usual, the Supreme Court waited until the final days of its term to announce its most highly anticipated decisions.  Last Thursday the court upheld the University of Texas’ use of affirmative action in admissions but split 4-to-4 on President Obama’s executive action on immigration.  Today another big decision is expected on the Whole Woman’s Health vs. Hellerstedt, the most important reproductive rights case since Roe v. Wade.  We’ll discuss these and other decisions this hour on Radio Times.  We’ll also look at how the 8-member Court has fared following the Antonin Scalia’s death. Our guests are THEODORE RUGER, Dean of University of Pennsylvania Law School, and LISA MCELROY, associate professor of law at Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law.
