We’ll also hear Marty’s conversation with University of Pennsylvania professor of political science and communication, DIANA MUTZ. She joined us to discuss her book In-Your-Face Politics: The Consequences of Uncivil Media, which examines the effect that the increasingly-partisan news media is having on political discourse in America. Lastly, we’ll listen to Marty’s interview with former Democratic congressman BARNEY FRANK. Tonight, Showtime will premiere a film about the veteran politician’s life and career, called “Compared to What? The Improbable Journey of Barney Frank.”
