    Listen 00:48:41

Guests: John Culhane and Jeffrey Rosen

Today, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in Obergefell v. Hodges, the long-awaited case about the rights of same-sex couples to marry. Also at issue is the whether states that don’t allow same-sex couples to marry must recognize marriages which are valid in other states. The cases come from Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee, the four states which had their marriage bans upheld by the federal appeals court in Cincinnati in November. Today on Radio Times, we’ll preview the arguments and get analysis from two legal scholars. JOHN CULHANE is professor of law at Widener Law Delaware. JEFFREY ROSEN is president and CEO of the National Constitution Center.
