She spent several years at Penn State College of Medicine as a professor of pediatrics and psychiatry and where she founded the Penn State Hershey Eating Disorders Program. She is the first ever openly-transgender person to serve in a governor’s cabinet in Pennsylvania. We’ll find out about her life and what her main priorities will be as the state’s top doctor.
