Dave Davies brings news of Philadelphia’s ranking as one of the nation’s worst offenders when it comes to funding public pensions.  Holly Otterbein reports Pennsylvania will miss out on federal bonus dollars awarded to states for enrolling more kids in CHIP.  We talk to Dr. Richard Gelles, Dean of the School of Social Policy and Practice at the University of Pennsylvania, who signed a letter to the Vice President urging restoration of funding for firearms research.  That’s History’s Jon Zimmerman looks through the history books and asks whether an individual’s right to bear arms is as fundamental to being an American as some people think it is.  And Peter Crimmins talks to Northeast Philadelphia residents trying to keep a piece of history close to home.
