    In opinion polls of likely voters, New Jersey governor Jon Corzine has been trailing his Republican challenger Chris Christie for months. But the Democratic incumbent has taken refuge behind the political cliché, that there’s only one opinion poll that matters, and that’s on Election Day. But the candidates are filling the airwaves in North and South Jersey with attack ads and competing charges of corruption and conflicts of interest. And Independent candidate Chris Daggett hopes he can play more than a spoiler role on November 3rd.
