The deaths of nine activists on the Turkish flotilla have sparked international outrage toward Israel. The flotilla was carrying aid to the Gaza strip when Israeli naval commandos tried to stop it. In our political round-up this week, we’ll discuss the fallout from the botched raid and how it will affect U.S. relations with Turkey and Israel. We’ll also look at other international news including the International Atomic Energy Agencies new report on Iran’s nuclear capabilities, a U.N. report criticizing U.S. unmanned drone attacks, the military offensive planned for this summer in Kandahar, and the North Korea problem. Our guests are James Kitfield, Foreign Affairs and National Security Correspondent for The National Journal and Karen DeYoung, Senior Diplomatic Correspondent and Associate Editor for The Washington Post.
