Sixty years ago, the US Supreme Court’s major accomplishment was the end of separate but equal schooling. The resulting integration of the nation’s schools had a major impact on Delaware. In this week’s First Look, we visit with a Dover woman who recalls how her education was changed as a member of that first racially-integrated class, and how those lessons remained with her.

As the world notes the 70th anniversary of the D-Day invasion, the sacrifices made during that event are almost unimaginable today.
