Guests: Matt Apuzzo, Tariq Panja

Top FIFA officials were arrested in Zurich yesterday on money laundering, racketeering and bribery charges. The new U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch announced the 47-count indictment against 14 FIFA officials and sports-marketing executives. Allegations of corruption have surrounded FIFA for years but can this investigation clean up soccer’s governing organization? This hour, we’ll talk about the FIFA corruption charges and what it means for the world’s most popular game with New York Times reporter MATT APUZZO, Bloomberg News reporter TARIQ PANJA, and the Washington Post’s STEVEN GOFF. We’ll also get a preview of the Women’s World Cup which starts June 6th in Canada.
