Raised by her South African minister father and mother, Diane lived in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Australia for most of her young adult life. In order to cope with the adjustment to American life, she found comfort in the piano. After years of playing piano in hotel lobbies, she was noticed on MySpace by an English manager.
