Philadelphia Daily News reporters BARBARA LAKER and WENDY RUDERMAN were notified on Monday that they were awarded the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for their 2009 series Tainted Justice. According to the the Pulitzer citation they received the award for “for their resourceful reporting that exposed a rogue police narcotics squad, resulting in an FBI probe and the review of hundreds of criminal cases tainted by the scandal.” Laker and Ruderman join us in studio to talk about the series, its impact and the prize.
