Chris Wilson talks about his memoir "Master Plan: My Journey from Prison to Purpose."
Listen 49:46Guest: Chris Wilson
At eighteen, CHRISTOPHER WILSON was sentenced to life in prison without any hope of parole. But instead of resigning himself to a life behind bars, Wilson decided to turn his life around and came up with a blueprint for life that he called his “Master Plan.” It was a list of goals and steps for self-improvement – earn a GED, learn Spanish, read, write, give back to the community, get out of prison, and more. After working at it for more than a decade, Wilson convinced a judge to reduce his sentence and since his release, he’s started a number of businesses that employ ex-offenders and has worked on criminal justice reform issues. Wilson comes in to talk about his memoir, Master Plan: My Journey from Life in Prison to Life of Purpose.
