Can green jobs save the economy?

President Obama’s $787 billion stimulus package contains substantial green funding, including $500 million for a green-job training program and $5 billion to help people weatherize their homes. Then we discuss whether or not green jobs can stimulate the economy and provide employment opportunities with GARY GEREFFI from Duke University and MATTHEW KAHN from UCLA. Listen to the mp3
