Ballot Talks, Radio Times on the Road edition: Congressional dysfunction

    Listen

    Guests: Jon Runyan, Ross Baker

In this edition of Ballot Talks: we take a listen to Marty’s most recent “Radio Times on the Road,” taped live in Moorestown, New Jersey on Tuesday night, in which she talked with outgoing congressman JON RUNYAN of New Jersey’s 3rd District. The former Eagle’s offensive-lineman decided not to run for re-election last year as he became disillusioned with the politics of governing. We’ll hear him describe the most frustrating aspects of the job, including the legislating and fund-raising processes. They are joined by Rutgers professor of political science, ROSS BAKER, a former congressional staffer who’s recent book is entitled Is Bipartisanship Dead?
