Ballot Talks: New Jersey update, evaluating Obama

    Listen

Guests: Fred Hiatt, Blake Fleetwood, Patrick Murray

In this week’s edition of Ballot Talks, our weekly look at all things election-related: why are so many campaigning democrats distancing themselves from President Obama both in Pennsylvania and nation-wide? The most extreme example of this came earlier this week, when Democratic candidate for Senate Alison Lundergan Grimes wouldn’t say whom she voted for in the 2008 and 2012 presidential election, despite having been a delegate for Obama at the 2012 Democratic convention. We’ll talk with Washington Post editorial page editor, FRED HIATT, and The Huffington Post’s BLAKE FLEETWOOD about the phenomenon. But first, we get an update on the House races in New Jersey from Monmouth University Pollster, PATRICK MURRAY.
