The new climate change report: impacts and adaptation

The United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change just released their second report focused on the impacts of global warming and how we can adapt to the changing world. The report says wildfires, droughts, floods and heat waves will be more prevalent, leading to food shortages, conflicts, and humanitarian crises. This hour, we’ll talk about the report, who is most vulnerable and how to adapt.  Marty’s guests are MICHAEL OPPENHEIMER, who served on the IPCC II panel and is the Albert G. Milbank Professor of Geosciences and International Affairs Princeton University and BENJAMIN HORTON,  who served on the IPCC’s Physical Science Basis report from last fall and is Professor of Sea Level Research at the Institute of Marine and Coastal Science at Rutgers University.
