Zoo investigates polar bear’s untimely death
Officials at the Berlin Zoo are still trying to figure out what killed famed 4-year-old polar bear Knut. The young bear died suddenly Saturday as tourists looked on.
Fox29 reports the zoo is looking into possible causes of death, ranging from something medical like a seizure or heart attack to something more social like rejection from the three females he shares his compound with.
Knut should have lived well into his teens.
