Your guide to spring cleanup events in NW Philadelphia

The neighborhoods of Northwest Philadelphia are gearing up for the 5th Annual Philly Spring Cleanup this Saturday. The cleanup features over 300 community initiatives throughout the city that include picking up litter, painting over graffiti, planting, recycling and other small projects. The event is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. citywide and all are invited to come out and help. Interested residents can sign up at www.phillycleanup.com.
