Wyeth employees await merger

Wyeth employees across the Philadelphia area are waiting to see what their employer’s merger with pharmacutical giant Pfizer means for their jobs. About 5,000 people work at Wyeth facilities in Collegeville and Malvern. A Wyeth spokesperson says the Madison, New Jersey-based firm doesn’t yet know whether jobs will be cut or facilities closed.
