Work on DRPA bridges will have drivers altering routes

Travel between Philadelphia and South Jersey? Listen up.

Redecking and maintenance work on two of the Delaware River Port Authority’s bridges could make your commute uglier.
The major redecking project on the Walt Whitman will result in multiple lane closures over the next week. Same goes for the Commodore Barry, which is due for some maintenance.

The Gloucester County Times has details on when exactly to avoid both bridges, and what you can expect on the Ben Franklin. In short? Stick with PATCO or head north and use the Betsy Ross or Tacony Palmyra.
