Wolf to seek ban on gifts to Pa. lawmakers, cap on campaign cash

Gov. Tom Wolf is going to ask Pennsylvania lawmakers to put new limits on the size of individual campaign contributions and to be more transparent about income they receive from outside employment.

He’s also preparing to seek several other government reforms, according to details obtained by The Associated Press.

The governor’s press secretary confirmed the governor will lay out his proposals in a speech Wednesday.

Wolf also wants the Legislature to ban gifts to all state government employees, including lawmakers, and to require those seeking government contracts to disclose campaign contributions.
